You may or may not have heard about David Wilkerson's prophecy of soon-coming catastrophe in New York City. I didn't post anything about it because I didn't put too much stock in it; not because I doubt prophecy, but because it didn't seem to be that convincing. Well, John Piper has an explanation of his response to the prophecy as well. It is worth reading to hear the response, but to also see how he comes to his conclusion.
