Blackbird

I thought we were One Nation, not black or white, nor red or blue, but One Nation. At least that's what THE One kept telling us. And now there is Blackbird - the first search engine (think firefox, google, yahoo, etc) for Black people! Seriously. Here's a quote from their homepage:

"Black search prioritizes sites that focus on African-American content and information enabling you to find content that is typically buried in most search engines. Typical users only look at the first page of search results and this is why Black Search is so important to discover and experience African-American content. Black Search utilizes the Google CSE technology."

I wish someone would invent an AMERICAN search engine that doesn't bury American results. Maybe we could get American news that tells us all the great things this nation has done and is doing. This really is disturbing. It wil be interesting to compare search results between this and other more "White" search engines. I'll keep you posted if I come across anything really interesting.
