At ANY rate - TSA has now claimed that out of the 100 million paasengers who fly annually in the US thanks to the body scanners and the up-skirt techniques being used, they have now prevented 130 (one hundred and thirty) dangerous or forbidden items from being smuggled aboard an airplane including a bit of heroin.

Okay - y'all? I thought this was the war on terror - not the war on drugs.Also in the report - please note - TSA did not say it stopped any terror attacks with this, nor that it had detained anyone who was going to blow up a plane or anything. They just stopped dangerous items from being put on a plane. Like unauthorized water bottles. Or little old ladies who forgot to remove their nail clippers from their purse.
Is this REALLY what we're fighting against.
YOU JUST SAW IT - they just tried to brainwash us and spin us into supporting them cracking down on people "breaking the rules" when there's no credible threat. They JUST had a press conference trying to get YOU to support a police state without any critical thinking whatsoever.
Contraband items on planes aren't my concern. Terrorism is. Contraband items do not neccessarily mean it was a terrorist act and having it removed does not necccessarily make me or you safer - why? Because my question is - out of 100 million passengers a year with screening procedures - they only found 130 items (one hundred thirty)? Either there's nothing out there and coming through the airports this way (given that they found zero terrorists with this method) or they really suck at what they are doing and there's a lot more getting by.I'm against drugs - but I don't support the feeling up of my crotch or my wife & children's crotches to find them.
They say they can't be certain of our motives and intentions. Well - the same goes for us against our government. It already showed under the Kenyan in Chief that the government has no respect for the will of the people - and this is out of control. And I'm sorry - TSA - even the well intentioned ones - are being used as pawns to erode our freedoms in an ill defined mission from a government that has zero credibility with very few results to show for it that are in line with what we want accomplished - meanwhile our enemies are emboldened overseas, our businesses crushed, a welfare state created and our healthcare destroyed. Yeah - keeping us safe - the only people we need to be kept safe from is the government!
