On Monday, November 29, 2010 from 7pm - 9pm EST, Tea Party Patriots is holding a Tele Town Hall Meeting in which we will discuss some very key Congressional committee chairmanships that will be decided in the next two weeks. We have already confirmed that some of the nominees will participate on the call!
Some of the most important positions in Congress are the chairmanships of committees. Never before have the people been involved in trying to influence who chairs these various committees, but times are changing, and our voices need to be heard!!
It is no longer acceptable nor responsible to give chairmanships to Representatives and Senators based on seniority or connections. The responsibilities of chairing a committee are too important to allow the positions to be doled out for favors or just simply given to someone because it is his or her "turn" to hold the position.
The People want to see Chairmen of integrity and character that are principled enough to stick by the three core values that a vast majority of Americans agree with: fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government, and free markets.
