A nuclear meltdown in the city of Omahas water supply from the flooded nuclear facility would result in catastrophe. Multiple failures at this facility due to malfunctions and flooding create an atmosphere of danger. Spent fuel rods are likely to be exposed to the rising flood waters. Media blackouts are the status quo. Nebraska officials calm the public by absolute denial. Workers at the power plant face ever changing and challenging work environments. The fort Calhoun facility in nebraska may evolve into the biggest disaster in nebraskas history. Contaminated water may soon infect the population on Omaha, which is just downstream of the nuclear facility.
