my wife has a disability, for those of you just catching up to Simplybecauseitis. She wasn't disabled when we married.

As I pondered on disability the other night working with a man with cerebral palsy, I realized that disabilities provide opportunities that abilities don't provide.

Life is short, there is a purpose to opposition - this world was designed for it - perhaps the most blessed are those who are troubled the most and seem to be the least in this world.  At any rate, this is a link to a couple who are both disabled and a snapshot of their life and how they cope. link here
