Third Syrian Governor Sacked
The governor of Hama province in Syria, Ahmad Khaled Abdulaziz, was sacked by President Bashar Al Assad on July 2, a day after tens of thousands of demonstrators gathered in the provincial capital demanding Mr. Assad step down from power.
Mr Abdulaziz is third governor to be sacked for failing to control law and order in his province; earlier the governors of Deraa, and Homs were sacked.
