I like these - For those not in business but who may have played sports, you spend as much time honing your positive thinking skills in business as you do sports in order to succeed. You visualize yourself reaching your goals, visualize the goals, write them down, all that stuff - why? Because success is mentally exhausting, the obstacles are numerous because you're talking about leaving the mainstream and carving a new path that's never been trod before.

Christopher Columbus, at dinner after his success in the new world was asked by a detractor whether he thought it wasn't possible that someone else could have discovered the new world and accomplished what he had. He then invited everyone at the dinner table to stand their boiled eggs on end on the table, which all tried and failed. After they failed, he took his egg and smacked it onto the table flattening the end and it then remained standing up. He then told everyone, he had to come up with the solution first, which no one had, but after that, it was nothing but simple for everyone else to follow in his path.

Even the most stunning successes in the world didn't happen overnight nor do they keep it without believing.......
