Iran has announced plans to try 26 U.S. officials for human rights violations including terrorism, drug trafficking, torture and other war crimes. The Americans are to be tried in absentia and their files passed to international tribunalsaccording to Reuters. The United Nations has also reported on US racist-based human rights violations related to prisoner torture that the Obama administration has not ended.
