The House passed a $649 billion defense budget for fiscal year 2012. That's about $530 billion for the Pentagon's primary budget and another $119 billion for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. So it looks like Congress has said sorry America, your social security and Medicare and Medicaid have probably got to go because the Pentagon needs more jets. Ret.
