Here's an account of one effort to distribute food to the needy in Haiti. The idealism in us says if we send money or other contributions, the rest of the work will be easy. But conditions on the ground, as this case shows, sometimes can make that impossible. There really is no ONE to blame, but a thousand factors why people in need can't get help that is available.
