So - here's my question now: Is this guy really some mastermind or just the nerdy guy with a hig-tech toy who's really a bumbling fool? Of course - if you really want to be the smart guy you need to be like DB Cooper . Now that's a nice one! - in fact, recently some of his parachute was found up here and the case opened up again briefly looking for him. NICE!. The FBI believing he didn't survive? Then we'd have found his body for as much work as they put into everything to find him. A bone. A bit of meat....something. You'll notice that in these espionage cases or such or when an agency gets it's butt handed to it and they can't find what they are looking for they will say that so-and-so didn't survive. Often it's a last ditch ploy to appeal to the pride of the individual who may want notoriety or fame for their exploits to raise their head and say "No! I survived! I'm in....Brazil!" so they can pick up the trail again. Possible he died, but everything I've read on this indicates he survived AND got away with it. Back to Assange. The entire point of this is to lock him up and make him miserable. It doesn't matter for what. Sexploitation. Terrorism. Parking tickets. My other question is: is he a high intelligence, high value target or is this simply revenge for screwing a bunch of people and making countries look bad - except Obama who WANTS this stuff to happen?
We haven't seen the cables released that said they would be if he was arrested - so now I'm wondering if his supporters are walking away from him.
If' he's out to do damage he's going to have to do it quickly though because his finances are cut off and his website is going to go down eventually as the noose is drawn tighter on this guy's support network.
Meanwhile, somewhere, you know there's some TSA security guard who got the BOLO (Be On Look Out) for Julian Assange and thinks he's James Bond now because he went from feeling through girls panties to standing at the gate looking for a high tech threat to come walking by.
