Gun Ownership A Constitutional REQUIREMENT?

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Sounds to me  like a militia or gun owners are NECESSARY to the security of a free state.....not just an option but a REQUIREMENT.

So, I saw this proposal from Vermont that the state require non-gun owners to register and license themselves. http://www.resistnet.com/profiles/blogs/a-novel-idea-register-nongun

Sounded interesting to me because if you think about it, non-gun owners drive crime higher because they are at a higher risk and do not contribute to the threat to crime by being able to defend themselves.  They drive up costs of society operating.

I was also thinking that perhaps their names and addresses of non-gun owners could be published publicly so we can see the statistics as a social experiment to confirm that they are, in fact, safer than gun owners.

Let me ask this, in the rulings on the 2nd amendments where people have argued that the 2nd amendment doesn't extend to an INDIVIDUAL the right to bear arms.....who the hell is going to own them then?  Corporations?  Unions??  Militaries???   Anyone see the problem with that?

Anyways, as a public service, I'm putting out these stickers for people to put on their car or home to keep it safe.  These can be made into bumper stickers at www.makestickers.com
