So, since Pakistan was hiding Osama right under our noses while taking money from us, and we killed Osama without asking permission, in retaliation, Pakistan is pulling all sorts of childish shenanigans designed to disrupt in whatever piddly way they can anything of the US's. Including drastically reducing the amount of intelligence they share with us........really? You mean stuff like.....you're hiding Osama Bin Laden? Y'all I don't think Pakistan's a team player or even on our team but....Okay! Obama knows best!So the US is cutting $800M of $2B in aid but still paying $1.2B to Pakistan....
Who now suddenly "can't afford" to keep troops on the border of Afghanistan to keep militants from streaming into that country.
Given that Pakistan was outright hiding Osama from the US - I can only wonder how effective they are at guarding the Afghan border in the first place.
Perhaps they should guard it better now for a while for less money as "back pay" for hiding Osama.
At any rate, maybe just letting them stream out of Pakistan into Afghanistan so we can kill them there on the border without having to violate Pakistani sovereignty might be another plan.
At any rate, I think I may have a suggestion for another $1.2B we could cut in foreign aid all together now that our main business in Pakistan is done and just send a bit more ammo to Afghanistan to deal with the fallout.....
