Evolution - refuted?

If you're in the psyche field - you HAVE to study evolution.  Evolutionary (I prounounce it "EEVO LUE SHUN AIRY") psychology - biopsychology - you name it. I found the evolutionary theory to be too presumptive and its adherents ignorant in general.  Too much unexplained which doesn't even jive with what we can see in front of ourselves right now.  My wife watched a video earlier on Netflix called "Creatures that defy Evolution."

I couldn't find a listing for it on www.imdb.com but I did find it on amazon.  The video does ask some pretty darned hard questions of those who adhere to the philosophy.

Unfortunately, even at the Ph.D. level - you find many who take advantage of their rank and who skirt the issues and throw their ideas out there as irresponsibly as an unitiated undergrad.

However, that just seems to be human nature - regardless of the level of education
