General David Petraeus has been called the "rock star four-star" of the US military and lauded by Republicans and Democrats alike for his strategy in Iraq and Afghanistan. Petraeus testified before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence today as part of his confirmation as the next director of the Central Intelligence Agency. But his critics say Petraeus is better at navigating Washington than a battlefield.
